This stunning 18 mm coin has the gorgeous classic Irish antique bird of Kells design from The original ancient Book of Kells on the back.
Pagan and Irish ecclesiastical mythology have both built and carried the legend surrounding the bird of Kells Through the Ages.
In this modern take the bird of Kells is on the rreverse with the Celtic Irish Harp on the front.
The coin has been carefully gold-plated in true 24 karat gold. The coin is set into a handsome gold filled over sterling silver bezel.
This is a one-of-a-kind item he will see some minor imperfections on the bezel Edge.
It's a difficult coin to find a bezel for and that being said if we had more bezels that fit them we would list more of them but since we don't this rare little beauty is on its own.
The chain is 24 inches long and is 3mm wide and is a gold over silver design.
