    Description

Lovely little concert Roller Organ with beautiful "gold" decoration on 3 sides.
Original glass on front lift-up lid.
We have not "been inside", but the two bellows in the bottom work well; the whole thing works well.
I am including 29 wood cobs (1 is still in the organ):
1 In the sweet by and by
2 Nearer my God to Thee
    6 Onward Christian Soldiers
15 Joy to the world also called "Antioch"
    18 He Leadeth me
21 Is my name written there?
27 I will sing of my Redeemer
    31 Christmas
32 Hark the Herald Angels sing
40 "Dennis" Blessed be the tie that binds
48 "Webb" Stand Up for Jesus
65 What a friend we have in Jesus
    67 Rock of Ages
    68 Sweet hour of prayer
73 Jesus, lover of my soul
90 All the way my Savior Leadeth me
    89 Softly and tenderly
166 He's the Lily of the Valley
    194 Oh, them golden slippers
    250 Jingle Bells
617 God be with you til we meet again
634 Shall we gather at the River
    635 Happy Day
730 Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
747 (in the organ) When the roll is called up yonder
5029 Angels we have heard on high
5038 We wish you a merry Christmas
    5060 Away in a manger
    5166 Little drummer boy
As you can see, the rolls are each in a custom-made box, and if the label is colored versus hand-written, those are the NEW (not old) cobs.
Where the original song titles are also the same melodies as old favorite hymns, I then wrote the familiar song onto the labels, myself.
Some of the cobs have old labels on the end of cobs themselves, some have hand-written song titles on the wood (some are from long ago).
At one point I had a massive collection of these cobs, and slowly have whittled it down, keeping my favorites.
The cob performance will vary according to the age of each cob and how much use it has seen, but I have kept only ones I liked!
Now it's time to let the organ itself, go, along with these 29 favorite songs. I know there is someone out there who will enjoy this unique music - and the lovely antique wood instrument.
I displayed it for years on top of my antique treadle sewing machine in the living room, and it looked beautiful. Recently waxed and shined with Johnson paste wax, the best thing for antique wood furniture!
Also, please note that I will be shipping this in 2 boxes - one is the organ, one is the cobs. I believe that will ensure safer handling. The price indicated is intended to cover both boxes.
Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you for looking.
