Check out this antique violin bow that was recently consigned to me for your buying consideration.   Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!
Someone selected the item by mistake and asked that that transaction be canceled.  So, the item is available again for your buying advantage!
It appears the bow is made of p-wood.  Has a complete shaft that is six sided, not just by the frog as 95% of bows are made.    This is not a real Tourte bow.  He was French.  This bow has Saxony noted on it under the frog.  Also, on other side of bow where it says Tourte, there are other letters impressed, but cannot read them.
Minor loss of the finish along the shaft.  Nice looking frog on it.  The bow has no cracks, splits or repairs to the wood that I can see to report to you.  Great "TOURTE" impression on the shaft above the frog.  Under the frog, it says "Saxony", so a Germany bow, not French.  The bow still has a great finish on it.  Good camber.  Strong flex to the shaft and I can ascertain no warping, splits or repairs to report to you.  The bow has a brown leather on it where you would find that material or metal winding.  Beautiful tip on this violin bow as well.  There is no horse hair on the bow and it will need to be rehaired.
No mother of pearl inlays on the sides of the frog and along the bottom.  There is a mother of pearl piece on the bottom of the frog that is loose and not shown in the pics.  Appears to be an ebony and silver end screw.  The bow is 29" (736mm) long.  The bow weighs 1.8 ounces (52 grams) with no horse hair on it.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
The pictures provided both complement and supplement the listing description, so please look at them very closely as well.  With old items, there is no way one can capture all the little imperfections in words, so the two media are meant to be the full description.  Only look at the pics thru a PC or laptop, as the Ebay smart phone and IPad system does not provide you with the ability to zoom in within the pics.
