In warmer water the shirt can be worn alone and is perfect for active sports like kayaking, surfing, wakeboarding, kiteboarding because it so soft and flexible. It's also a great chill chaser for Snorkeling and SCUBA and offers limited buoyancy so it will not interfere with freediving or Scuba activities. In colder water its a great base layer to be worn under a wetsuit, drysuit or spray jacket to add additional warmth which allows you to work or play longer when the elements are not in your favor.
