  • Condition: Vintage NOS still sealed 1 quart metal can of posi fluid. Litho date of 1965 on can. Can shows minor dents and rust from years of shelf wear. Look at pics for condition.

    Found another can of this in the garage....
    Fresh out of the old dealership
    This is an original NOS 1 quart can of General Motors Positraction Rear Axle Lube / oil.
    In the original metal can, never been opened. The can has a litho date of 1965, which means this is the "old" formula that contains whale blubber / oil. After 1973, it was illegal for US manufacturers to use whale oil so the market turned largely to synthetics.
    For GM cars equipped with optional "Positraction" rear ends, this is the real-deal fluid that was used in the rear differential and axles. Includes 1960-1970 Era Camaro, Corvette, Impala, GTO, 442, Nova etc., etc.
    No major damage to note on the can. Only minor dents and some surface rust on the ends. Contents are still inside and 100% usable. Graphics and lettering are all still very nice if you intend to display the can.
