    Description

    Beautiful set of time dated, yet timeless pieces!
    This cuff link & tie tack set is in its original box.
    The inside of the box shows age spots. < see pictures using zoom feature >.
    The set was made by SWANK who produced many sets of this nature, however, this set has the large " tail fins", which were put on everything  < late 1950's > from automobiles to appliances, it was the rocket age. This set is from the SWANK GRAND PRIX LINE.
    That being said, the round stones in each piece are stunning Aurora Borealis which unfortunately the camera did not pick up their real sparkle.  They do shine in hues of blues, purples and greens with movement under different lighting, < see last two pictures >.
    The large fins as mentioned above are very prominent features of these pieces.  They clearly represent the age of space flight which was the late 1950's.
    Would make a great gift idea for that special guy in your life who enjoys early space flight, cars with tail fins and the late 50's!  A special gift that when worn no one else will have and surely be noticed!
