Here I am selling ***1945*** Irish Six Pence***.  there was a total mintage of 400,000 coins , The total amount of money that was allocated in the year for 6/d was only £10.000 and that was for the 26 counties of Ireland,  Most of these coins were Reclaimed by the banks and melted down by the time dismal currency came in the early 1970s ,
this is one of the most sought after Irish 6d  coins and is the key date and lowest mintage
There were 40 to a £1.
