created and released by Disney in
1990
. This small limited edition is comprised of 2500 pieces worldwide. Cel size is 14x11 inches in size with a Disney seal in the right corner.
BONUS:
Disney issued this piece originally without a background, we have added a printed copy of of an original production background from the Disney archives. The print is on acid-free watercolor paper. This background has been added to this piece FREE of charge. Briar Rose is now placed where she should be in the lovely Forrest with singing birds, waiting and dreaming of her prince. A fantastic presentation. Framed size 21 x 18 inches.

What is a sericel?
A Sericel
is a serigraphy process that involves silk-screening each individual color to the cel, one at a time. Every distinct shade is a separate screen, and a separate pass in the procedure. As a result of this fine art operation, each color is flawlessly reproduced. Sericels are also created in limited quantities, typically 2500 to 5000 pieces and sometimes even 9500. Because of their larger edition size, sericels are the most affordable type of animation art, ideal for the beginning collector. The word Sericel is a contraction of Seri-graphed Cel.
