    Description

    Vintage and Rare Akai Compact Disc Player Model CD-D1 Manufactured in 1983. Some pretty large scratches on top and left side. Front looks good has some minor scuffs right side of door (see pics). Volume control on the back was removed and bypassed to improve the sound by previous owner. Otherwise, everything else inside looks original. This unit will play a CD but likes some better than others. Functions and playback can sometimes be glitchy. Seems to work better the longer it is played. That being said, this unit needs adjustments by someone familiar with these models. Full service manual available at Hifi engine last I checked. With shipping possible affecting things, I make no guarantees. Sold as-is no guarantees due to the nature of vintage electronics.
