Here I am selling a Scarce Irish 2/s 6d - Two Shillings & Six Pence Éire coin dated 1955.  It had a mintage of only 1.080,000
That represented a total of £135,000 allocated in Half Crowns for the Republic of Ireland that year in 1955.
When Decimal currency came in the 1970s a lot of these coins were melted down to make way for the new currency
This coin as you can see is in V/F   condition and has good detail on the harp.
