Vintage Irish 1966 Coin Ireland Half Crown 2/6 EIRE HARP

Description

Here I am selling a Scarce Irish 2/s 6d - Two Shillings & Six Pence Éire coin dated 1966.  It had a mintage of only 700,000 that represented a total of £87,500 allocated in Half Crowns for the Republic of Ireland that year in 1966.
it also marks the 50th anniversary of the 1916 rising
When Decimal currency came in the 1970s a lot of these coins were melted down to make way for the new currency
This coin as you can see is in V/F+   condition and has good detail on the harp.
