COA reads as follows.." This is an original hand painted Cel used in the actual production of this cartoon. Cels (short for "celluloids") are the fundamental building blocks behind all animated film entertainment. the fluid motion portrayed in a cartoon is the result of thousands of original paintings. Each cel is a complete original created by a single animation artist. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the face of each cel, establishing it as an original production cel as opposed to a repainted rendering or reproduction. This Cel is taken from "Pinocchio and the Emporer of the NIght" filmed in 1987 by Filmation Associates. Also included in this presentation is the Animation drawing which is the original drawing created by the film's animators from which the Cels are traced or Xeroxed onto the Cel."
Frame has some scuffmarks/scratches to the gold paint on front interior of frame. Frame front, I believe is plastic, has scuffmarks, surface wear as well. In the center of the 2 images there is a plaquard that reads "Original Hand painted Production Cel" this also has a blemish.. part of the "O" in production is worn.
Frame is plastic & measures 26 x 18 x 1 inch.
