This item is a new production 12 volt conversion kit. Designed for the Willys CJ2A style jeep.  Correct for the Willys L134 or F134 Jeep engines.
Kit includes a one wire alternator, our very own designed and produced alternator bracket, and one wire pigtail with built in fusible link.
Are you tired of the ridiculous and hideous alternator brackets that are being offered for your Willys L134 or F134 Jeep engines today? They are very difficult to use and mount and generally perform very poorly.  Our alternator bracket is not a univeral bracket.  It is custom designed and built for the Willys L134 & F134 engines only.  It actually fits and works!  This bracket is only available from Classic Military Vehicles and is made in the USA!
The 12 volt alternator in this kit is a one wire model.  It has the correct pulley on it to fit the 5/8 inch fanbelt that is required with the vintage jeeps.  This is 12v, 63A model.  This alternator is perfectly designed for the vintage jeeps as it begins charging at lower RPM's than other alternators desinged for cars or trucks.  This alternator begins generating at very low RPM's, delivers 45 amps at 1800 RPM's, 63 amps at 2400 RPM's and 74 amps at 3500 RPM's.  The included one wire pigtail is approx 16 inches long and has a built in fusible link.  This pigtail is made in the USA.
Yes, we could assemble a alternator kit for a bit less money, but you would not be happy with it.  There are more junk jeep parts on the market today than there are good parts.  We built this kit around our custom made alternator bracket and added a quality alternator and one wire pigtail.  Look at the other alternator brackets on the market.  You will clearly see the difference!
The pictured engine is not included.  This kit includes the alternator, bracket, and pigtail only.  The pictures of the alternator and bracket installed on one of our rebuilt engines is for example purposes only so you can see how well this alternator bracket works.  We send these alternator and brackets out on our rebuilt L134 Jeep engines and our customers love them!
